Description
Even though originally I wanted the Skulltaker to have a leather cord or even sisal-wrapped tang instead of a true handle for a more savage, rough-and-tough type look, a couple people suggested I might as well try designing scales for it.
The scales were modelled parametrically so changes to the blade would sync with the handles, but instead of them being modelled from a solid body, I did them in faces, using sweeps to create a more contoured, complex surface. I'm rather pleased with the way they turned out. The scales are only a quarter inch thick each.
Fully dimensioned engineering drawings will be released when the design is finalized.

Nice design, what program you used? Because even sweep faces can be parametrized (if it was NX as I saw in your other model)
